Are the security officers being paid adequately in order to minimise turnover of staff?

Does the company operate a control room?
Does it seem secure efficient and well managed?
Does it comply with building and fire regulations?
Is a system of check calls operated to ensure that a guard on your site is being remotely supervised satisfactorily?
Are appropriate records kept to enable you to check on the running of your site?
Have you approved a copy of the assignment instructions for your site?
Is there a proper system of mobile supervision and management at nights and weekends?
Are there appropriate arrangements for the notification of an incident to a senior management?

Can the company certify that it complies with the code of practice for the security industry, BS 7499 Static Guarding, Mobile Patrol and Keyholding Services?

Can the company certify that screening of staff is conducted in accordance with, BS 7858 ‘Security screening of personnel employed in a security environmental’?

Is the company certified to the ISO 9000 quality standard?

Is the inspecting or certificating body in scope with UKAS (the DTI approved body for such organisations)?
